The Athana group was born in 2022, founded by Thaddée Caron.
It all started when he saw his mother suffering from hot flashes due to menopause. Being close to her, he became interested in the effects, the pain, and tried to understand why it happens.
Wanting to find a way to relieve his mother's pain, he dove into books, articles and webinars to discover remedies.

He realized that cold was one of the best remedies, but impractical, except near a freezer. However, hot flashes do not give warning and come on quickly.
So Thaddeus looked into the question of creating an ice cube that doesn't melt.
By creating a startup based on this idea of ​​helping women suffering from hot flashes with an ice cube that does not melt, partners and investors became interested in the project.
This is how Athana was born.
The research was launched and Thaddée and his team found a way to make this famous ice cube. Cryotherapy became the heart of the thinking around the Athana product. After numerous tests internally and on the first users, the product proved its worth.
Athana then filed its patents related to its compact cryotherapy cooling technology. The ice cube was born.
With rapid development, spotted by the media and investors, Athana has experienced growing success. The product really provides relief, and women who suffer from these hot flashes talk about it around them.
Thaddée has thus found a path, a mission which, after years of research and struggle, is coming to fruition: rethinking well-being in a non-invasive way.
