FAQ
How to Use the Device
To activate the cooling function, simply press the ON/OFF button located at the base of the device. Within seconds, the cooling surface reaches the desired temperature, and a blue light turns on to indicate that the device is working properly. Each session lasts 1 minute and 30 seconds, during which the device delivers a controlled, soothing cool sensation.
The Héra device allows you to adjust the temperature to your personal preference. Using the “+” and “-” buttons, you can choose between two cooling levels: 10 °C (indicated by a light blue light) for mild cooling, or 5 °C (dark blue light) for more intense cooling. Each time you change the setting, you’ll feel a slight vibration and the light color will change.
For quick and effective relief, apply Héra to areas known as thermosensitive zones: the back of the neck, the upper chest, the forearms, or even the face. These areas are particularly responsive to cold, which helps quickly reduce the sensation of heat throughout the body.
Once the session is complete, the device enters a cooling phase. It will then emit a flashing red light and vibrate slightly: this indicates that it should no longer be in contact with the skin. When the green light comes on, you can start a new session or turn off the device by sliding the OFF button (from right to left). It is recommended that you turn off Héra after each use to preserve its battery life.
Mobile app
The Héra device connects easily to the mobile app via Bluetooth. Once you’ve downloaded the app, a step-by-step tutorial will guide you through setting up the device, from adjusting the temperature to customizing your pain relief preferences.
The Athana app lets you set your device’s temperature between 5°C and 10°C to suit your needs. You can also track your remaining battery life and, very soon, view a detailed history of your hot flashes in the form of daily, weekly, or monthly reports. This feature will allow for more accurate tracking of your daily well-being.
Precautions for Use
Before using Héra for the first time, it is essential to fully charge it. Connect it using the included USB-C cable: a purple light will come on while it is charging. Once the battery is fully charged, the light will turn blue. Then press the ON button to turn on the device.
