Athana’s values and commitments

At Athana, our mission is to provide you with effective, non-invasive solutions to relieve hot flashes, both day and night. We know how uncomfortable these moments can be, which is why we have developed products that support you without compromising on comfort or ease of use.

Our goal is simple: to help you live better every day by offering solutions that adapt to your daily life, while respecting the environment and the people who are part of this journey with us.

A commitment to ethical manufacturing

From the very beginning, we made a strong decision: to manufacture our products in France. This allows us to reduce our carbon footprint while supporting the local economy.

Our Héra device, designed to relieve hot flashes, is partially made from recycled plastic, a choice that allows us to reduce plastic waste without compromising the durability of our products. For us, every little action counts in reducing our impact.

Furthermore, our shells are produced by French industrial molds. This choice did, however, lead to some logistical challenges, notably delivery delays linked to our French manufacturing.

But for us, it was essential to prioritize this responsible path, even if it sometimes means adjusting our timelines. Despite the delivery delays, which are now over, we are happy to be able to work, create, assemble, and employ in France, in the Maine-et-Loire region. (The factory is running at full capacity!)

Social inclusion: Our partnership with the Amipi Foundation

Our second commitment was to collaborate with the Amipi Foundation to design our devices in the Cholet factory, which employs 80% adults with disabilities. This partnership allows us not only to guarantee a high-quality product by controlling our local production, but also to contribute to a rewarding social initiative: reintegrating people with disabilities into the labor market. We regularly have the opportunity to visit the newly renovated factory, observe our three assembly stations in action, and interact with the entire team.

Héra and Moona: Two complementary solutions for your well-being

Our main mission is to help you in your daily life by offering devices that promote your well-being. Indeed, the Héra device uses cryotherapy to naturally relieve hot flashes.

Simply place the cold part of the device on the body's thermosensitive areas, such as the wrists or neck, to feel instant relief.

This simple gesture allows you to continue your day calmly, even when faced with sudden hot flashes.

For its part, the Moona connected pillow is designed to improve your sleep comfort and relieve night sweats. Thanks to intelligent temperature regulation, it helps you create an ideal sleep environment. Simply connect the pillow via the app, place it in your bed, and enjoy a peaceful night. Moona will soon be available again to offer you a pleasant and restorative sleep.

As you have gathered, we have managed to combine respect for our values with the production of our devices. It wasn't easy, but we succeeded!
